Located in Ygnacio Valley Plaza, on the western edge of Mount Diablo, Sports Basement Walnut Creek is a haven for Bay Area adventurers and casual sports enthusiasts alike. The store is conveniently located minutes from the 680/24 highway intersection and only a short walk along the Iron Horse bicycle trail from BART. Right across the street from historic Heather Farms park and pool center, the plaza has a bit of everything, from great food to a fitness center.

Meeting Spaces

Sports Basement Walnut Creek has three dedicated spaces for community events, meetings, fundraisers, parties, and just about anything else that fits within the bounds of being legal…

Our Community Space, with approximately 2,000 square feet, is able to support groups up to 100 people. This is an open space area, close to our shopping experience. We can meet a multitude of needs in this space.

The Loft Room, at approximately 1,500 square feet, is able to support groups up to 70 people. This is a private meeting area with a pull-down projector screen, tables and chairs as needed to fit the needs of the group.

The Mezzanine has approximately 800 square feet and is able to support groups up to 30 people. This is a semi-private meeting and event space that can fit the needs of small to medium size events.
