San Francisco – Bryant Street Store

 

Sports Basement Bryant Street opened in 2007 in the old Hamm’s Brewery. The brick-and-wood building, originally built in 1909, features five floors of sporting goods, an art gallery space, and plenty of underground parking. The Bryant Street location is in the thriving Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, close to gyms, a supermarket, and many food options, and there are at least six places to get coffee within a three-block radius.

We are a drop-off point for organizations that recycle the following: Athletic shoes, batteries,  bike tubes, cell phones, camping fuel canisters (small, empty ones only please), tennis balls, yoga mats. Click on the links to find out what happens to these recycled products.

Meeting Spaces

Our Bryant Store has several spaces in the store that can be used by groups for meetings, events, clinics, parties or anything else that seems fun. Email us to make a reservation.

The Grotto is a large, private meeting space located on the first floor near the Ski & Bike shops. The space can comfortably accommodate more than 200 chairs for clinics, presentations and movies. The site has hosted several ski/snowboard and surfing films. The Grotto is also our rotating art gallery with new local artists on display each month.

The 5th Floor West is a semi-private meeting area that can accommodate 40-50 chairs for meetings and clinics.

Our Living Room is an open area at the front of the store, close to the registers and shopping action, which can host parties and group gatherings.

We also have access to our employee parking lot along the north side of the building on the Florida Street level. The parking lot can host street festivals, charity car washes and other larger outdoor events.

We have several smaller community areas located through out the store with flexibility to accommodate larger groups and events. We can provide projection screens, LCD projector, speakers, TV, DVD/VCR and hard-wired internet access. There is never a fee to use our space or equipment, just drop us a line to check availability.
