With over $30,000 dollars raised by almost 4,000 supporters so far, we are finally down to our final four charities. Last week’s games were exciting, especially with ALC and TNT East Bay coming oh so close to upsetting their opponents. All of our division champs have played the Madness beautifully and all of them have earned thousands of dollars from Sports Basement. But, this week, only one of them will be crowned Charity Madness Champ for 2012.
It looked like the SF Schools were the “Kentucky” of the the tournament until The YMCA rallied their supporters to outscore the schools for the first time in the tournament. Can they do it again? Don’t count out TNT South Bay or the Walnut Creek Education Foundations – their entire regions might rally behind them to show to San Franciscans that they’re not the only game in town. The Final Four starts today!
