Sports Basement engages with the community and community partners every day. It’s our culture. It’s who we are. It’s what we do. The articles below highlight just a handful of these partnerships. In an average year we host more than 2,000 groups at our four stores. That’s over 60,000 members of the community who are welcome to enjoy and use our space for free!
If you want to get involved with one of our partners, you can contact your local store to learn more. Or visit our store events page to find volunteer or cheer-squad opportunities.
Are you raising money for a charity? Be sure to check out our Fundraising Tips & Ideas.

All Sports Basement stores are now carrying an amazing book, written by Harvard MD Dr. John Ratey, called SPARK. In the book, Dr. Ratey argues that physical activity facilitates a child’s learning (as well as that of adults) not only because of a boost from endorphins (feeling good or relaxed) but also because physiologically, our brains begin mapping differently when we exercise, and consequently we learn more.
